What it is
FlagMaster is a flag-recognition game and quiz app for iPhone and iPad. It teaches all 195 recognised country flags — 193 UN member states plus Vatican City and Palestine — through short, colourful quizzes. It's designed to feel like a game, not a worksheet.
Who it's for
Anyone — from first flag to Flag Master. The first screen in the app is "Find your level": take the optional ⚡ 5-flag warm-up (0–1 right makes you a Rookie, 2–3 a Voyager, 4–5 a Flag Master) or pick a level yourself. You can change your level any time in Profile.
- 🌱 Rookie — "New to flags": picture-first quizzes with spoken questions, a winding road map and gentle feedback.
- 🗺️ Voyager — "I know a few": find-the-flag quizzes across the whole world, a blocky world map and full stats.
- 🏆 Flag Master — "Bring it on": colour-naming, reveal-the-flag, capital-city and description challenges, and a globe atlas.
How it works
- Find your level and jump straight into a quick quiz — no sign-up required.
- After 3 quizzes in a row at 90% or higher, the app asks "Ready to level up?" — your level never changes on its own.
- Flags are grouped by continent and shared design language, so learning compounds.
- A spaced-repetition engine schedules reviews so tricky flags come back at the right moment.
- Progress is tracked with stars, streaks and a passport of countries visited.
Pricing and privacy
- Free version: 3 flag questions per day.
- FlagMaster Unlimited: optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly — unlimited daily flags plus every level and challenge type.
- Progress tracking, streaks, badges and the global and group leaderboards are free for everyone.
- No chat, no user-generated content, no social feeds.
- No sign-up is required to play.
- See our privacy policy for the full detail.
