    What does the flag of Vanuatu mean?

    The black triangle represents the ni-Vanuatu people and the fertile soil. The red symbolises the blood of boars and men, and the green the richness of the islands. The 'Y' shape represents the pattern of the islands in the Pacific Ocean, and the light of the gospel shining through.
